Frequently asked questions
How do I set the tempo? Drag the slider, tap the −5 / −1 / +1 / +5 buttons, or use Tap — tap it in time and the app matches your tempo. The supported range is 40–208 BPM.
How do I change the sound or look? Swipe left or right to switch between the two modes — Classic (a wooden metronome with a warm, woody tick) and Digital (a back-lit panel with a clean electronic beep). Tap the colour pill to cycle that mode's colour variants: Walnut, Ebony and Natural for Classic; Mint, Amber, Blue and Candy for Digital. Colour is visual only — both variants of a mode share the same click sound.
What are subdivisions? Subdivisions add extra clicks between the main beats — eighths (2 per beat), triplets (3), or sixteenths (4) — so you can practise finer rhythms. Choose one from the subdivision row, or turn it off.
Does the metronome keep time accurately? Yes. Clicks are scheduled at exact audio sample positions, so timing stays steady even while the screen animates.
Does the app collect my data? No. The app makes no network connections and collects no data. Your settings are saved only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Why is there no sound? Check that your device isn't muted at a very low volume, and that another app isn't holding exclusive audio. The metronome is designed to play alongside other audio (for example, a backing track).
